When you meet Rhonda Roberts, you quickly learn she’s not just an artist, she’s an uplifter. Her dream is simple yet profound, to sponsor others so they can pursue their dreams too. That mission has guided her every move in the world of music, dance, and youth empowerment.
Rhonda’s love for the arts began early, studying music and dance and eventually writing original plays and compositions. In college, she launched her own performing dance troupe, laying the foundation for what would later become one of her proudest accomplishments, the J-Rock Summer Program.
J-Rock isn’t just a camp or workshop. It’s a transformative experience that provides young people with creative outlets, confidence building, and spiritual encouragement through the arts. Through it, Rhonda has mentored countless youth, helping them discover their talents and understand their worth.
With plans to release more original music and expand the reach of J-Rock, Rhonda continues to lead with both passion and purpose. But her deeper message is about the heart. As she puts it, "I'm not certain that the general public comprehends the power of the arts and how it touches the heart of an individual." Her work is a response to that misunderstanding, an invitation to feel, to heal, and to believe.
Grounded in her faith, Rhonda lives by the words of Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” It’s a reminder that guides both her personal and professional life, especially in the way she shows up for others.
