For over a decade, I-Know Brasco has been a respected name in the Philadelphia rap scene. A lyrical force and community-minded creative, Brasco brings more than rhymes, he brings responsibility. His mission? To give young, underserved kids opposites to what they see daily. To provide new visions, new access, and a way to learn, grow, and prosper through their art.
As a featured artist in this year’s Jasai Theater Festival, I-Know Brasco steps onto a new stage with a familiar goal: impact. What he loves most about the festival is its direct connection to the community, and the opportunity to spark creativity that extends well beyond the mic.
With multiple awards, battle wins, and the respect of some of the industry’s most seasoned veterans, Brasco has proven his skill. But now, he’s focused on something deeper. He’s building a program that allows young people to record music and monetize it, teaching not just creativity, but ownership.
