Conversation Moderator | Strange LoveJasai Theater Festival 2025
When Necol Millsip speaks, she speaks from the heart, and from the fire she’s walked through. As the Founder, President & CEO of the Soldier of Love Foundation, and this year’s featured moderator for Strange Love, Necol brings more than insight to the conversation, she brings healing, empowerment, and truth rooted in experience.
Her journey into advocacy began in one of the hardest places imaginable: a domestic violence shelter. Listening to the stories of other women, Necol recognized her own reflection in their words. That moment of clarity didn’t just change her, it called her into purpose. Her mission became clear: to break cycles of abuse, amplify survivor voices, and build a world where no one suffers in silence.
Necol’s background is layered with entrepreneurial grit and community commitment. From launching her own entertainment company and managing talent, to working with the Philadelphia Anti-Drug Anti-Violence Network, serving as a legislative assistant, and leading food security initiatives for families, she has built a life that centers around impact, compassion, and action. Her healthcare experience further deepened her understanding of holistic healing, something that drives every facet of her work today.
Through her organization, Soldier of Love Foundation, Necol continues to be a force for change. She curates transformative experiences like the Annual Domestic Violence Awareness & Empowerment Event, and community efforts such as back-to-school giveaways that equip children and families with resources and hope.
As she steps into the Jasai Theater Festival, Necol uses her platform not only to moderate dialogue but to ignite reflection. With Strange Love exploring themes of intimacy, trauma, and transformation, there could be no better guide for this conversation. Her presence is a reminder that behind every story of survival is a soldier of love who chose healing over hurt, advocacy over apathy, and courage over silence.
